Young Friends of the Earth Europe (YFoEE) is a grassroots network of young people and youth organisations working for social and environmental justice on a local, national and European level.
Friends of the Earth member groups involved in this work: Austria, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, England, Wales and Northern Ireland, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, The Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Scotland, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

Youth empowerment
Our youth empowerment program had a fresh start at the end of last year, when Alva Rödström joined our team as the new Young Friends of the Earth Europe coordinator. Her arrival marked the start of the Young Policy Academy project, that will be the backbone of YFoEE’s work in the coming two years.
The project aims to strengthen the involvement of young people in democratic life, their engagement with decision makers, and ultimately help them to contribute to a sustainable Green Europe for all.
The project consists of youth focused and participative trainings and activities, both on and offline. These are delivered on the European and local level, thanks to the involvement of six partner organisations from all over the EU and beyond.
